Eight Advisory Germany has successfully supported Ardian owned Santé Cie Group on the acquisition of APOSAN, a leading German provider of pharmaceutical homecare and ophthalmic compounder. Eight Advisory Germany provided Financial, Tax and IT Due Diligence to Santé Cie Group. The stake was acquired from the IK Small Cap I Fund.
With the acquisition of majority stake in APOSAN, Santé Cie Group continues its successful internationalization strategy. APOSAN is a leading specialized homecare provider in the field of outpatient parenteral antibiotic therapy, one of the fastest growing segments in the German home care market, as well as parenteral & enteral nutrition and ophthalmic injectables. APOSAN is headquartered in Cologne, Germany, and serves over 15,000 patients per year. APOSAN’s management team is now a minority shareholder in Santé Cie Group. The joint company will serve more than 180,000 patients annually, with revenues of €300m+ and 1,850+ employees throughout France and Germany.
Santé Cie Group is a leading company in the French home medical assistance (HMA) market offering medico-technical equipment, consumables and services to patients at home. Santé Cie is in turn majority-owned by world-leading private investment house Ardian. Eight Advisory had advised Ardian in Santé Cie’s majority stake acquisition in January 2020.
